Update 11/5/06 - I've changed the wording on the Players page to better illustrate Trent's role in the band. I've also updated an incorrect belief on the Story page concerning the nature of the band's name. In each case, i've cited an interview with Al Jourgensen that confirms what really happened.

In other news, this site will be 10 years old in less than a month!

Update 1/14/06 - I received a few e-mails lately that warrant some updating. I find it a testament to the integrity of the Wax Trax! "scene", so to speak, that despite this site's age, and the obvious lack of output by the "band" (16 years now?), this page still gets traffic. Anyways, the first e-mail was from John Girotti, who wrote:

Hey, just cruised through the fan site. I don't know how often (if ever) you update the site but with Trent R. touring this year I thought I would share some info with you.

"Official" band members:
Buck Satan (Al J) - guitar, bass, vox
Ike Krull (Trent R) - vox (sort of). guitar on "Supernaut"
Wee Willie Reefer (William Rieflin) - drums
Viva Nova (Patti Jourgensen) - vox
Count Ringworm (Jello Biafra) - vox

Sorry, I don't know who Officer Agro is for sure but I remember Paul Barker (Ministry bassist) wandering around. Trent R did the vocals for the original vox for the "Supernaut" remake but some people had liscensing issues and you can only find it on some custom pressed vinyls and the "Black Box" cd set from '94.

I used to spend a lot of time around the Chicago Trax! studio in my "youth" and I'm almost positive these are correct.

Sweet site!

While I can't make a decision based solely on an e-mail, i'll leave it up to the reader to take what they will from it. I have also updated the Players page a little to reflect the contents of this e-mail.

The second e-mail was from BillOnOakHill@aol.com, and was a correction for the lyrics on "Supernaut." The correct line is "I'm gonna climb up every mountain on the moon/And find the dish that runs away with the spoon". This is in line with the lyrics for the Black Sabbath original, and makes more sense than "And find a distant man a-waving his spoon." I am not sure why I never caught this error before, but thanks to Bill for finding it for me.

The third e-mail was from Paul Clarkson, and was an alert that the 1000 Homo DJ's EP is available for purchase at the website All Of MP3. The entire EP is downloadable for $0.70 in 192kbps MP3 format. While I cannot personally vouch for the integrity of this site, I thought I would list it in case someone who was unfamiliar with the music was willing to take the risk in order to hear the songs. Please let me know your experiences with the site if you do decide to order from it. Thanks for the heads up, Paul.

That's all for this update. I'd like to thank every who continues to visit this site, for whatever reason, and particularly to those who continue to e-mail me with more information. Here's to the site's tenth anniversary in November!
